Caulking and Spackling

Spackling is important in a paint job. It fills holes, dents, and surface imperfections in the walls, creating a smooth even surface. Without it, flaws would stand out through the paint, reducing the quality and professional look of the finish.

Preparation is everything. We caulk and spackle any imperfections that we find.

Here caulk has been applied to the gap to make for a more finished look

First we start the repair opening up the crack some to fill with spackle

Then we fill the crack with spackle, let it dry, check to see if enough spackle has been applied, and sand to a smooth and level surface
