Taping is important when painting the interior of a home. It protects the trim, the ceilings, and edges from accidental paint marks and creates clean, sharp lines. Scuffing the walls before painting is important because it lightly roughs up the surface so the new paint can grip better. It also helps remove small gloss and sheen from old paint, which prevents peeling and improves durability. This step leads to a smoother, longer-lasting finish.

Once we scuff the walls we wipe it down to ensure a clean painting surface.
